FAQ

DO YOU OFFER A HEALTH GUARANTEE? 

All birds come with a 7 day (1 week) health guarantee. During this period of time, Exotic Birds of Southeast Missouri encourages our customers to make an appointment with our partnering Avian Vet for a check up. This will not only get your bird established with a reputable Avian Vet, but it will ensure the health of your new feathered family member. Should the Avian Vet determine your bird is ill, documentation of the visit should be provided to Exotic Birds of Southeast Missouri within 24 hours of the visit to receive credit or a full refund.

Customers assume the responsibility of the bird upon purchase and should they not take the bird in for an Avian Checkup within the first 7 days of purchase they forfeit any and all options for credit or refunds. 

IS A DEPOSIT REQUIRED TO HOLD A BABY?

Yes, a 50% deposit will be required. 

​

The only birds eligible for a holding deposit are babies that are not yet weened. Any baby bird with a deposit will be held for the depositor until it is ready to go home, at which point the customer will be given a week to arrange a pick up time for their new baby. 

​

Should a customer decide they do not want the baby or fail to arrange pick up within a week of notification, their deposit will be forfeited and the baby will no longer be on hold. 

​

Ready to go home birds will NOT be eligible for holding deposits and must be paid for in full at the time of purchase. 

WHAT IS YOUR MERCHASE RETURN POLICY?

All toy, cages, food, accessories, and other merchandise (excluding birds) will not be eligible for returns or refunds.

All sales on everything in the store, excluding birds, are final. 

WHAT ARE THE PAYMENT OPTIONS?

We accept all major debit/credit cards. 

​

Cash in store is also accepted. 

​

We do not accept payment apps or personal checks. 

DO YOU SHIP?

All merchandise available in the store, excluding birds, will also be available to buy online. 

​

We ship merchandise anywhere within the Continental United States, shipping fees will apply. 

​

We DO NOT ship any of our birds, All birds must be picked up in store.
